Vretta and the Luxembourg Ministry of Education won the App-Based Game Group Award during the 6th International Educational Games Competition at the European Conference on Games-Based Learning for MathemaTIC.
Vretta and SCRIPT, Luxembourg Ministry of Education, received the coveted Gold Award from the Brandon Hall Group for MathemaTIC in the category Best Advance in Custom Content for the successful implementation and progress towards raising attainment and reducing the equity gap at primary and secondary schools in Luxembourg.

For the past two years, he has had the opportunity to work closely with other teachers from Luxembourg who have been part of the MathemaTIC project to design and develop interactive, voice-enabled resources to enhance math education for students.

Vretta, alongside the Luxembourg Ministry of National Education, have been awarded the Best Use of Formative Assessment at the second international e-Assessment Award Ceremony for MathemaTIC.
MathemaTIC Blocks, developed with teachers and researchers, came out of the assessment that students need a hands-on approach to problem-solving. This interactive tool offers flexibility for students to create an equation through a structured process. It helps students develop reasoning skills such as identification and recognition of relationships.
MathemaTIC's Amina Afif and Jos Bertemes have authored an article in the 2016 Yearbook published by the Consortium of Institutions for Development and Research in Education in Europe (CIDREE), which describes the approaches of MathemaTIC for reducing the equity gap and raising attainment for learners.
The Ministry of National Education, Children and Youth of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg signs a convention with Vretta to extend the development and generalization of MathemaTIC for students in Cycle 3 (equivalent to Grades 3 & 4) and Grades 7 & 8. This is in support of the “Digital Lëtzebuerg” strategy announced by Prime Minister Xavier Bettel in October 2014, under the leadership and guidance of Education Minister, Claude Meisch, the Director of SCRIPT, Luc Weis, and the Coordinator of the Project, Amina Afif.
On the 10th of May 2016, the Minister of Education, Children and Youth, Claude Meisch, presented the MathemaTIC digital learning environment in a press conference. En effet avec leurs expertises, ces enseignants ont créés un bon nombre des items rouges et noirs dans les différents modules d’apprentissages.
